What will my first month in Fora’s Graduate Program will look like?

Your first month in Fora’s Graduate Program will include shadow sessions, joint + independent sessions, independent sessions, and more.

Week 1

Your first week will be mostly made up of shadowing sessions and learning opportunities.

  • Onboarding sessions
  • Spend half of each day shadowing a senior therapist
    • Observe sessions
    • Help plan for the client’s next session
    • Practice writing notes
  • Familiarise yourself with our admin processes, and admin team
  • 1:1 sessions with your mentor
  • Clinical team meeting
  • Social events with the whole Fora team

Week 2

Your second week will extend on your first week at Fora by beginning independent sessions when you feel comfortable.

  • Spend half of each day doing joint sessions with a senior therapist
  • Independently run 1-2 initial sessions
  • Time to complete administrative tasks
  • 1:1 sessions with your mentor
  • Clinical team meeting

Weeks 3-4

The second half of your first month in Fora’s Graduate Program will focus on independent sessions.

  • Independently run 1-2 initial and therapy sessions per day
  • Time to complete administrative tasks
  • 1:1 sessions with your mentor
  • Clinical team meeting
